MTG Avatar: Last Airbender Spoilers

Wizards of the Coast has unveiled Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender, releasing November 21, 2025. This Universes Beyond set translates the animated series into Magic with four bending keywords, Allies, double-faced Sagas, and elemental Shrines.
The Four Bending Mechanics
Airbending exiles a permanent temporarily — its owner can recast it for 2 mana. Waterbending taps artifacts and enchantments to reduce ability costs. Firebending generates red mana when attacking. Earthbending animates lands into creatures with haste that return tapped if they die.
Returning Mechanics
Allies represent Team Avatar banding together. Lessons return from Strixhaven, fitting Aang's journey of learning. Double-faced Sagas tell hero stories and transform into legendary creatures. Uncommon Shrines tied to the four temples trigger on ETB.
